Buy chips from China — wholesale and by BOM list

Send a list — you get an answer on every line

What happens after you send a list

A sourcing request in China rarely looks like "I need one chip". Usually it is a file: part numbers, quantities, sometimes tolerances on the date and on the budget. From there the work goes step by step, and you can see what happens to your list.

First we check which supplier in Shenzhen or Shanghai actually has the part. Some lines are confirmed at once, some are not: a batch has run out, the package or the temperature range is different. We do not push the list to a full confirmation and we do not quietly substitute a similar part number.

Then you get an answer on every line: confirmed, alternative needed, or a clarification on parameters is required. The cost comes separately, with what it is made of. The decision on a disputed line stays with you; our job is to give enough data to make it without a second round of correspondence.

If it is easier to start from a group rather than from a part number, start with the catalog by component category.

We accept BOM lists in Excel, CSV and PDF

BOMs arrive in different shapes: an ERP export, a spreadsheet from the design engineer, a PDF from old documentation. The format is not the point — the point is that the part number, the quantity and, where they exist, the acceptable substitutes are readable. A list with obsolete numbers is a normal situation, not a reason to send the file back.

For every line we look at what the part is replaced with and what changes — down to the packaging. An alternative without that comparison is a lottery, and it surfaces at assembly. So you get the comparison and you see what we propose as a substitute and what we leave as it is.

If a line needs an alternative, it comes as a separate item with a link back to the line it replaces — the specification does not turn into a list without history. Then you either approve the substitute or ask us to keep looking. Lines approved during sourcing are not changed.

Matching package and pin-to-pin is only the start of the check: we also compare voltage, frequency, temperature range and tolerance. If the manufacturer has discontinued the part, we offer what is actually on the market and show how the substitute differs. The final decision on a substitution stays with your engineer — we provide the comparison, we do not present a fait accompli.

Know only the part number? Then it is easier to find the part by number than to describe it in words.

What we check in a batch before payment

The authenticity question is not a formality when sourcing from China. The market is large, there are many intermediaries, and neat packaging says nothing about what is inside. So verification is part of the sourcing process, not an option offered after something has gone wrong.

We compare the marking on the package with the supplier data, look at the batch, the date code, the condition of the packaging and how the goods were stored before shipment. Discrepancies are recorded and reported before payment — not after. If a part raises doubts, you hear about it together with our risk assessment, not with the sentence "everything is fine".

A separate note on batches that arrive in parts: when a supplier ships in instalments we check every instalment, not only the first. Otherwise the discrepancy surfaces on the last box, when the schedule is already tight and it is too late to redo anything.

The whole procedure is described on the authenticity verification page (in Russian). There you also see which batch data you receive together with the goods.

Cost, minimum order quantity and payment

The cost of chips from China does not come from a list. It depends on the part, the volume, who has the goods right now and the exchange rate on the settlement date. So we calculate against your list and show what the amount is made of: without that, comparing offers makes no sense.

The minimum order quantity (MOQ) differs per line as well — the supplier and the packaging set it. There is no single threshold: we calculate against your list, and for every line you see whether your quantity qualifies. Where the volume is below what is possible, we say so at once rather than at the payment stage.

For a first purchase it is more sensible to start with a trial batch from your list than with the full volume: that way you see the packaging and how we answer along the way. What counts as a trial volume is your call; we tell you which lines qualify and which are better moved to a second shipment. Trial terms are agreed before the invoice.

Payment in CNY is possible — for a buyer in Russia it removes part of the currency routine, and for a supplier in China it is a familiar scheme. Terms and the set of payment documents are agreed before the invoice is issued.

If the rate or availability changes between the request and the payment, we recalculate and say so before the invoice. A silent correction in the invoice is more irritating than a changed figure.

How to start: what to send in the first e-mail

The minimum set is a part number and a quantity. Everything else speeds up the answer but is optional: manufacturer, package, acceptable alternatives, the date you need, the delivery city. If you have the whole specification — send the whole specification, splitting it into lines is not your job.

It helps to state at once what matters more to you: cost, lead time or a specific manufacturer. On the same part number these pull in different directions, and without a priority we will be clarifying it in correspondence while the part is gone.

If there is no part number but there is a description of the task — "I need a driver for this motor, in this package" — that works too. We will offer the options to choose from and the decision stays with you. It takes longer, but it is not a refusal.

Any format: Excel, CSV, PDF or text in the e-mail. The main thing is that the quantity sits next to the part number instead of being reconstructed from the correspondence.

What you can verify about the company

You can verify not only a supplier but also us: the rest of this page is about a distributor, not about your Chinese counterparty. Every distributor writes "reliable" and "experienced", and that cannot be checked — such words are worth little. Below is what can be checked.

The company has been in component distribution since 2006 and on the Russian market since 2020. Offices and warehouses are in Shenzhen and Shanghai: goods pass through our own facility, not through an intermediary you never see. Three account managers handle sales and speak Russian, so the request and the correspondence can be run in Russian.

We run the batch check before payment ourselves: marking, batch and packaging are compared with the supplier data, and discrepancies are reported before payment. Payment in CNY is possible. If your purchase needs another scheme, we discuss it before the invoice.

If the task is the other way round — verifying not us but your own supplier in China — that is a separate procedure: how to verify a supplier in China is described on the service page (in Russian). If you need to clarify something about the company before the first delivery, ask us directly.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to buy chips from China wholesale?

There is no single figure: the cost depends on the part, the volume, what the supplier has at the moment of the request and the exchange rate. Send a list — you get a figure for every line and what it is made of, so it can be compared with other offers.

Can I order several different parts instead of a batch of one type?

Yes, mixed lists are a normal request for us. Minimum quantities differ per line, so the threshold is checked both per line and for the whole list: where the volume is below what is possible, we say so straight away.

What do you do when no supplier has the part?

We look for an alternative and send a comparison of parameters: package, voltage, temperature range, tolerance, packaging. A substitution is not approved automatically — you decide, we provide the data for the decision.

How can I be sure the chips are not re-marked?

We compare the marking with the supplier data, look at the batch, the date code and the condition of the packaging, and report discrepancies before payment. What exactly the check includes is on the authenticity verification page (in Russian).
